Villingili Kandu is one of the most spectacular channel dives in the Maldives, located just a few minutes from our dive center. It is famous for its exceptionally high numbers of grey reef sharks, making it a favorite stop for liveaboards that often return for multiple dives. Divers hook in at the channel edge and watch an incredible underwater show of sharks, large schools of bigeye trevallies, eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse, and other pelagic species. As the dive continues inside the channel, encounters with huge green sea turtles are very common. This site can be dived year-round, with January to April offering peak conditions and activity.

Kooddoo Shark Point is a unique and exciting dive site located on the house reef near a fish factory, just a short boat ride away. With little to no current and a gentle slope starting from shallow depths, it is suitable for all levels of divers, including beginners. Despite the easy conditions, this site delivers unforgettable encounters with bull sharks and schooling spinner sharks, along with grey reef sharks, turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, and large schools of reef fish. The close proximity and frequent shark sightings make this one of the most popular dives in the area.

Kooddoo Corner is a classic Maldivian channel-corner dive, known for its constant marine action during incoming and outgoing tides. Divers usually hook in and observe grey reef sharks cruising in numbers, surrounded by schools of trevallies and snappers. Eagle rays, stingrays, and turtles are also commonly seen. Due to current conditions, this site is best suited for intermediate to advanced divers, offering an exciting and authentic channel-corner experience.

Maamendhoo Outer Reef offers a beautiful outer-reef drift dive along a scenic reef wall. Currents are generally mild, making it comfortable for most divers. This site is known for consistent sightings of whitetip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse, and both hawksbill and green sea turtles. It provides a relaxed yet rewarding dive with an open-ocean feel.

Turtle Point is a calm and peaceful dive site, ideal for beginners, training dives, and relaxed exploration. The reef starts very shallow and slopes gently to sandy areas between 12 and 20 meters. The main highlight is the large concentration of green sea turtles, often with 10 to 15 turtles resting together in one area. Leopard sharks, grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and abundant reef fish add to the experience, making it a favorite for slow, memorable dives.

Odegalla, also known as Coral Garden, is renowned for its exceptionally healthy and diverse hard coral formations spread over a wide area. With shallow depths and gentle slopes, it is perfect for snorkeling, check dives, training dives, and relaxed fun dives. The reef is home to large numbers of reef fish, turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, and one of the area’s special highlights—the leopard shark, a rare sight in the Maldives.

Dhigu Rah Beyru is a versatile outer-reef dive that can be enjoyed as a drift or hook-in dive. A key attraction is its shark and eagle ray cleaning station, regularly visited by grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and eagle rays. Overhangs along the reef often shelter sleeping turtles and stingrays, while fusiliers, tuna, and barracuda occasionally pass through the blue. Suitable for all diver levels, it offers a perfect mix of structure, pelagic life, and relaxed diving.
